Slow Dancing

Many might remember slow dancing (Slow Dragging), but I remember looking at how the light moved through the darkness. In this painting, the texture of intensity and the illusion of reflective color as it lays attached to other colors had to dominate, yet hide but not take center stage over the expression or mood set by the pair dancing. Equally, so, the suggestion of movement is captured by the absence of form on one level, yet not on another.
